Anyway, I saw TRON Legacy last night. I LOVED it! No, I haven't seen the original movie, but everything was so cool about the new movie that I didn't have to. But, I am going to look it up so I can find out the backstory on the Grid. Another one of Disney's live action films I will buy as soon as it comes out on disc. Although, I haven't gotten Sorcerer's Apprentice yet, but I'm waiting for Christmas. I loved that one a lot, too.
Unfortunately, I probably won't have art gifts for my friends, this year. I've procrastinated too much (and prepping for the My Chemical Romance concert from last week ate up a lot of time). I'll try, but I don't see it happening. I don't love you guys any less, I'm just bad at managing my time.
Oh, yeah, the My Chemical Romance concert. AWESOME. Gerard teased the crowd asking if we wanted them to return for their tour in the spring. I hope they do, and I've been checking their main page every day about six times to see if they've announced any new tour dates. I'm sad that way. I can't believe I haven't been this big a fan of them all this time, though. I jump onboard almost ten years into their music career (now, I've liked their songs for much longer, since about 2005and even bought the Black Parade in 2006but never dug deeper than that). They really are creatively amazing guys and seem pretty levelheaded and polite.
MCR has spawned three new original fictions for me, and that's pretty odd (and clearly is reason why they've become almost tied with my top favorite band of all time). TRON Legacy helped with the latest one, but I'm still sorting out my ideas.
All in all, things have been great for me. I'm loving life and am happily doing so (that's a major switch from just a couple years ago).
If I find out that MCR is coming back, and not the same day as the anime convention I plan to attend, I will be working on finishing my Maka Albarn (soul eater) cosplay.
